Sunday, March 24th Wider Parish Lenten Soup and Presentation 5-7pm with Mufaya  Brian Likando

After a delicious meal of homemade soup, Brian will be speaking with us about his missionary work and drilling water wells in his home country of Zambia. He and his wife find remote villages where there are only shallow, dirt-filled wells.  They dig deeper wells as well as help rebuild thatched homes, and anything else that needs to be done.  They also help distribute an antimalarial plant to these remote places.   Between the drought and poor economy they are unable to grow crops or purchase food so they also try to deliver food.  They also plant churches in these remote areas where so much hope is needed.  It’s amazing work!

Friday, March 29th Good Friday Letting Go Service 5:30pm A special service of reflection and giving to Christ all that keeps us from living a life of compassion, joy and abundance so that we can be reborn into a new life of love and service to others.
