What does the Bible actually say about homosexuality, what does Jesus say, if anything?
Homosexuality was a common practice in ancient history, much of the art work in 1st Century Rome depicted men loving other men and yet Jesus never mentions homosexuality. Leviticus says a man should not lie with another man as he would with a woman, however, Leviticus has 618 laws around sacrifice, cleanliness, animals that may be eaten; the punishment for blasphemy is death, obviously we no longer practice these laws from 600 BCE. And there are some verses in Corinthians and Romans that might appear to denounce homosexuality, but as Dr. Arthur Bellinzoni will discuss, these verses are taken out of a larger context and may have different meanings in a different historical and cultural time.
